Foreign National Enrollment

General Important Instructions For All Foreign Nationals, Children of Indians working in the Gulf, S.E. Asia, PIO, OCI, ICCR Students.

  1. If the mark sheet is from a Foreign University, the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) Equivalence Certificate is mandatory.

  2. Students must report to FRO within fourteen days of arrival and as and when necessary. IC, SPPU is not responsible for the lectures, internal assessments, etc, that the student misses due to late admission or for any other reason.

  3. Students with any discrepancy should clear it on time in order to get their final eligibility letter.

  4. No Indian can apply on behalf of an international student.

  5. Students are not allowed to work with any institute or firm during the study period. If they are approached, they will have to inform FRO.

  6. All foreign students or international students, children of Indians working in the Gulf & South East Asia and PIO/OCI who have paid 75USD for medical insurance must collect their insurance card after four months from the payment date.

  7. All foreign nationals, children of Indians working in the Gulf and Southeast Asia, and PIOs and OCIs must complete their medical check-ups within three months from the date of firm admission.

  8. If a student misses/files the English Proficiency Test (EPT), he/she should immediately contact the International Centre for Remedial English Exam.

  9. Strict action will be taken against students who do not appear for the English Proficiency Test (EPT). Students, who fail or do not appear for EPT have to attend the remedial course. (Details can be obtained from the International Center Office.)

  10. All foreign students from non-English speaking countries must appear for English Proficiency Test (EPT), to be held on as per the date given.

  11. In any circumstances, fees are not refundable once paid at the International Center.

  12. Once the seat (in the college) is allotted, no changes will be allowed under any circumstances.

  13. A college seat will be allotted randomly from among the preferences, marks, & eligibility, or in the event of non-availability of seats in a particular college, the Director of, International Center will allot any college or institute. It is mandatory for the student to accept it. In any case, if the college has been allotted to the student, no request will be entertained for a change of college, even on medical grounds.

  14. All foreign nationals, children of Indians working in the Gulf & Southeast Asia, and PIO/OCI are requested to obtain detailed information about fees and courses available at the university departments and affiliated colleges and institutes before confirming admission from the respective departments, colleges, and institutes.

  15. If the documents are found to be fake/forged at the time of submission, the application will be rejected, and legal action will be taken under the Indian Penal Code.

  16. Only Bachelor's Degree students are eligible to apply for master's admission.

  17. Only Students who have passed 12th Std. can apply for bachelor's admission.

  18. It is mandatory for all students to produce the same documents at the time of firm admission submission as have been uploaded at the time of filling out the online application form.

  19. In the case of students of foreign nationality, it is mandatory to carry a mark sheet attested by the Ministry of Education or Indian Embassy in your country or your Country Mission i.e. your Embassy or Consulate in India.

  20. Visit the International Centre, SPPU, with all uploaded original documents, a new visa, or a course change after receiving the Provisional Letter of Admission and Eligibility.

  21. All documents need to be translated into English.

  22. A valid student visa is necessary on arrival for admission to be completed. No admission will be granted on Tourist Visa / X Visa /Entry Visa/ Medical Visa etc.

  23. Please write the correct name and surname in the application form as mentioned in the 12th grade worksheets; no changes will be allowed later.
