About CBDC

Ambrosia Institute of Hotel Management strictly prohibits any form of caste-based discrimination within the campus. The institute is committed to maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and equitable academic environment for all students, faculty, and staff members.

Discrimination based on caste is a punishable offence under Indian law. In accordance with the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), the institute has established the Prevention of Caste-Based Discrimination Committee (CBDC) to monitor, prevent, and address any such issues.

Any individual may report incidents of caste-based discrimination through:

  • Online complaint form

  • Written complaint submitted to the institute office

  • Direct approach to committee members

Objectives of CBDC

  • To prevent caste-based discrimination on campus

  • To create awareness about equality, dignity, and inclusivity

  • To provide a safe and confidential mechanism for complaint redressal

  • To ensure timely inquiry and fair resolution of complaints

  • To recommend disciplinary action against offenders

Scope of the Policy

This policy applies to:

  • All students

  • Teaching and non-teaching staff

  • Contractual employees

  • Visitors within campus premises

The committee shall be responsible for timely redressal of complaints/grievances as and when made by SC/ST/OBC students, teachers and non-teaching employees.
